Another dream shattered! Beautiful silver French nursing medal WW1 awarded to Scottish hospitals 1917 has been sold for £392.50 this evening. It had been running at £75 and thought I might have had a chance with a last minute snipe. These WW1 medals seem to be rocketing at the moment.
Back to the drawing board I guess.
