Does anyone know how long the original LH badge, the much larger one, was issued for and roughly how many would have been issued?
Mike

myk1066

Do we think the recent batches of LH badges have dried up, not seen one for sale for a while?

myk1066

Hi all
I won the recent London Hospital Charge Nurse badge & I have the Staff Nurse version.  Does anyone know if there is a Sister, Enrolled Nurse & Auxiliary Nurse/Nursing Assistant variants or any other varients such as Physiotherapist etc?  Does anyone know when & for how long they were issued?
Regards
Mike

hi, please can you link a photo?, thanks, I might be ble tp help then; my badges were persona;ised, and also purple. from the 1980's.

Do you have confirmation or provenance that the LH is Definitely from the London hospital?

myk1066

I was reliably informed from the person who sold me the Staff Nurse version that it was from the London Hospital.  The enamel colours seem to fit.  The badges look Art Deco in my opinion too.

Perhaps you could contact the archivist at the London to see what they know?

I've emailed the LH Archivist re the badges, watch this space
