Hi, does anyone have an image of both these types of badge side by sid e  please?....i believe the kings crown one is quite rare?
many thanks, Lizzie

Sarah Rogers

Update:
I received this helpful information from the rcn archives:

"The crown is quite stylised and does change very slightly from the C19th to C20th centuries and it appears slightly differently on different grades of badge, but there is no 'king' or 'queen' crown to my knowledge. Regardless of the currently reigning monarch the crown in the design has only ever represented Queen Victoria's involvement in the start of the institution."
