Can anyone identify this badge, it is painted on the inside of a WW1 Brodie steel helmet issued to an RAMC officer.

No idea but I love a puzzle.Looks to be variables around either IVNI or IAUI depending upon which way up it is.
Good luck in Iding this.

It does look familiar, probably from a  horror film, not sure which way up it goes.
