Do any members have experience of replacing missing or damaged medal ribbons? I know military medal collectors frequently replace ribbons but am unsure how to source civilian or nursing awards.I have just acquired a Holloway Sanatorium medal minus its ribbon and would like to replace it.Going on the later medal it was red and blue.Any suggestions?

Hi Peter

I don't know if Paul Read at www.officers-colours.co.uk  can help. I have bought my nurses medal collections from him and he offers various services such as medal mounting, he can be contacted via his website.
Best wishes
Rosemary
