Terribly sad,a similar thing happened recently in Norfolk at Little Plumstead Hospital near Norwich.   http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/rubble_and_ruins_where_former_little_plumstead_hospital_once_stood_1_4667701

It really is a crime what NHS Estates does with much of its old unused hospitals, particularly the Asylums, although the old London Temperance Hospital also springs to mind.
