Title: Happy 60th Birthday NHS
Post by: nursesue on July 02, 2008, 09:35:46 PM
Anybody doing anything special to celebrate this anniversary??
There's been some great articles in both the press and Nursing Journals about the last 60 years. I just love looking at the old photos and remember the "good old days" through my rose-tinted spectacles

Hi,

a nice link from the National Archives:-

https://ionmx.com/apps/display.aspx?t=d09-4f-4f-83d-34c4d&h=972a706905f9601822c0b94e17bdcf55

You will probably be given the choice of displaying secure or non-secure items - if you want the pictures the answer is 'yes', but you still get the associated links if you say 'no'....  My own answer is yes - National Archives are a trustable site.

Happy 60th,
WB.
