Is it me or have EBay done away with numbers for each item? I wanted to use auction stealer but couldn't find the item number.

Hi.

Ebay seem to be having a bad day today...  Various parts didn't seem to work as advertised - it looked to a simple Simon such as I that they were updating live - online.  I suppose that if all depends on money one can't take time out.

A bad day at Black Rock.... The net result for myself was that having just purchased a very expensive Christmas present I struggled for a good 20/25 minutes to pay for it and then could not communicate with the seller for another 30 minutes or so. Then I received a second notice asking me to pay (having just done so). And I still had an open notice asking me to pay for a second item which was long ago paid for and delivered (and is currently sat on my desk here) !! Luckily the emails did arrive as advertised....  And yes, I communicated my problems which did seem to have the desired effect....

But then (yesterday) ebay said that they had found in my favour returned my money after a dispute about the last item (a printer) and declined to add my (good++) feedback to the seller for that reason.  My account remains in order - I paid, the seller supplied, I am currently using.....

But then, it is a very large system - for which I would not want to be responsible. Perhaps all the changes will leave us with a stable system again - most of the changes seem to surround the separation of ebay and PayPal.  Can be worrying if one is dealing with relatively large sums...

But I hadn't seen any number problem either. Possibly a transient!!

Will.
