hi - I am in Fife and working as GP practice nurse. I trained in B/ham (as am a brummie by birth) and "emigrated " north of the border about 5 years ago after travelling. Are you still in Scotland?? and are you still nursing or have you seen the light and got a sensible job??? ;D

SRI possibly Stirling Royal and FDRI Falkirk and district Royal Infirm - just guessing ???

Hi there,  ;D

Sorry I haven't been online for a while as I now live in Australia and yes I saw the light as I'm no longer working in the Health Service anywhere.

S.R.I. = Stirling Royal Infirmary & F.D.R.I. = Falkirk & District Royal Infirmary (Both General training hospitals).
We also had Bellsdyke (Psychiatric)[Blue enammel]  Stenhousemuir and the R.S.N.H. (Mental Deficiency), [Red enammel] at Larbert respectively. (Badges are visible online to view within nurse sues gallery here).
These formed the Nurse training base within Stirlingshire.
