I have been a member of this site for some years now and I am turning to here for any sort of assistance you may be able to aid me in my search.
Basically, (due to a house theft some years ago now), not only my hospital badges were stolen, as was my wife's badges - see subject matter above!
We now live in Australia and so consequently, cannot physically visit local Glasgow antiques shops or "The Barras". However, we have even spent considerable hours looking over the intervening years visiting the likes of Ebay, Gumtree etc. Sadly and as to date, with no success. Therefore, I wonder if any fellow members could possibly find time to assist us in our search please?
We would be very grateful to any assistance you may be able to offer us find a replacement of the Leverndale trained Staff nurse's badge in very good or preferably, very fine condition. We have managed to secure an RMN Scotland badge for her in the meantime, but would dearly love to complete the set for her. I / we are very willing to pay for both the badge together with its packaging with registered P & P with International Tracking as well. We are happy to offer you payment by Paypal, Personal (RBoS) cheque, or International Bank Transfer - NOT Western Union though! If you do see one and it's through any traders shop, get their contact details & I'll contact them directly myself should you not wish to become involved to any deep involvement.

Although I can't help you at present Bill,it might be helpful if you could confirm which of the versions of this badge you are looking for?I know that there are a green and a black edged version and I believe Barry has both versions pictured in our albums section.Although I have had both versions in the past I haven't seen these come up for sale for many years now.
