Just in case anyone might be thinking about bidding upon this item on a well known auction site,it isn't in fact nursing item.The badge is for a school of that name and I have informed the vendor of that fact(he still hasn't amended his listing though?) Others might as well learn from my earlier mistakes!

ooh I got caught with that - found out its a school badge so resold it

There is also currently on Ebay a King's Hospital Dublin medal this is also a school not a hospital.

Yes thanks Barry,I too was caught out on that one as I was on Christ's Hospital Horsham,also a school!

thanks for that Barry Have to say didn't get caught out with the Christs Hosp as i seem to remember an article from Eidelweiss on the same subject. On about auction sites Sally B has gone very quiet no wee tempters from her of late
