I was asked recently how nurses can prove they received a salary when they
were student nurses in the 1980s if they have destroyed their pay slips.
Whilst this may seem to be insignificant it makes a difference when
proving continuous employment when receiving redundancy pay.
Anyone any ideas please?
Hi, inland revenue tax records should have details of all earnings from your employers and contributions, or contact your dss+dwpension office and ask for a copy of your national insurance contributions....so i am informed by x DWP/ D of health husband!
good luck

Thank you.

Yes, having recently had to do just that ie discover about salary / superan / N.I contributions; I would totally agree with Lizzie's suggestion.
By the way, don't let the various departments fob you off saying for example ' it's too long ago to find out' etc; as I know for a fact that legally they HAVE to keep these sort of records until the person retires!
Good Luck!

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that in the past couple of weeks, ebay have started to add, what seems to me to be irrelevant items ( such as plastic name badges etc) in their 'Nurse Badge' listings?
To review the current list of badges, I have always put as the title 'Silver Nurses Training Badges' which up until recently seems to have worked. However maybe there is a better 'title' I could be using?
Any ideas / advice would be much appreciated!
Thanking You,

Hi.
'enamel badges nursing' and 'General Nursing Council' seem to keep most of the junk at bay - no pun intended. Why no set up a couple of regular searches based on those two...
