An interesting discussion thread on the Nursing Times about the relevance of the Nursing Badge.Sues article from this site is quoted. Worth a look although you may have to register; http://www.nursingtimes.net/nursing-practice/clinical-specialisms/educators/do-nurse-badges-have-any-relevance-to-nurses-today/5034018.blog?item1=item#comments_form

hi - i managed to get in and yes its a great debate However am a tad annoyed that I wasn't asked to give permission to be quoted but hey ho am in print!!!!!!!!
Hello Superstar!
Don't be annoyed - your article is public domain and the Nursing Times article simply linked to it. As the man who spent several happy hours editing your super article, what can I say - every one was worth it! Personally I was a bit annoyed that schoolsofnursing (as the originating website) was not mentioned and also with the guy who felt that you had mistaken your wars! So I corrected both and, all said and done, am really pleased for you Sue.
Just don't let it distract you away from SoN - we are awaiting your follow-up article avidly....
Will. :-*
Ps. I dislike avatars - but have included one - you earned it!
no longer annoyed but have uploaded your request for a better Dewsbury.
Very fine. Very unusual. Very thankyou! Very much appreciated it is a nice badge. But nursesue, surly you are not selling your shoes on ebay?!!! (With apologies...).
