GNC badges: chrome/ silver plate

Hi, please can any one help?, what is the difference bewtween silver plate and chrome when used to describe GNC badges, aren't they one and the same?

No they are not the same. There was, to the best of my knowledge only solid silver and chrome plate. Maybe have a look here:-

Hi, thanks WillB for your reply, the "silver plate badge" arrived today...it is chrome, even to me as a novice collector! thanks for the help
