Title: Matrons Council Badge
Post by: backman on November 24, 2018, 02:57:29 PM
I am trying to find a picture of an actual badge from this organisation and wonder if any members have one? I have seen representations in Jennifer Meglaughlin's book and also the Nursing Record but don't believe I have ever seen a real one.Definitely towards the top of my wants list!

Thanks Sue some really interesting information there. I wasn't aware of the 1943 Nurses and Midwives Registration act but the need for nurses in wartime apparently took priority over some other military service?
