I came across a book covering St Stephen's Hospital history which was published to celebrate the centenary in 1978. The Hospital in Little Chelsea by C M Howgrave-Graham & L J Martin.Worth checking out if you can find it.

Thank you for the information.
I already have a copy of Chris Howgrave-Graham's book.
He was House Governor of St Stephens's Hospital when I was a Student Nurse and Staff Nurse there.
