Does anyone know what the letters stand for? I've managed to ascertain from the coat of arms it's Battersea Polytechnic but not sure of the other letters, PTC.

Not necessarily the polytechnic but rather the crest of Battersea itself so it could any institution connected with the borough;

It is my my box of "I don't have a bloody clue but maybe?" items.
I recently made an educated guess on the identity of a possible VAD badge on another site as it had a bar with SRIA on it.I was totally wrong as it it turned out to be for Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia,a Masonic organisation! I now tend not to go high on the iffy badges as 9 times out of 10 they turn out not to be Nursing.
Could stand for Physical Training College! Haven't a clue though.
