I started my RGN training in April 1984. There was a cohort of new students who were based at the QE11 hospital in Welwyn Garden City and the other cohort were based at St Albans City Hospital. I started my training with a small group based at QE11 who came from wide and far including Lincolnshire , Cheshire , Oxford. I was from Birmingham and arrived on the Sunday for the Monday morning start date. There was only me initially settling into my room in the nurses home until Christine arrived so luckily we looked after each other until the others arrived on Monday. I made friends with Alison Angela Sarah Bev and a male nurse Ro. We were a small group !
I would love to hear from anyone who has memories of training at the school and anyone who knows me or maybe even worked with !
