hi recently acquired a certificate awarded to doris m wainwright dated 6th october I938 trained at bootle borough hospital was wondering is the hospital still open  and what the hospital badge looked like many thanks

Hi Mark.

I am not sure about 1938 but in 1974 Bootle hospital was part of Liverpool (North Merseyside) School of Nursing.
