Title: Photos
Post by: myk1066 on October 11, 2017, 02:10:40 PM
I think it has been covered before but what is the best solution for taking photos of badges?  I take mine in normal daytime light & move the badge on the felt I use in order to reduce shadows, however what's best for photographing at night when there is only the ambient room light from the bulb in the room?

I must admit I too only only usually use bright daylight with a coloured contrast to highlight the badge detail.I experiment with different colours of card depending upon the badge colour.Anything else usually results in unacceptable shadow, particularly with flash.I really need to experiment with a simple photo light box of which there several starting at low prices on eBay.Does anyone have experience of these?
