Hi, I am storing my badges in a recently renovated box of my grandads.... we used varnish for the partitions, and some of the copper based badges are going a sticky blue ?, can any one help/advise please? thanks
ps the baise happens to be blue...but i think that is just coincidental? or is it...the boc interior smells quite varnishy

many thanks Lizzie

ps how should i best clean them , but not hurt them..ive tried googling but found nothing yet.
