Hi all, I am looking to find the 19990's blue Sefton School of Health Studies (RGN) badge if anyone has one to sell or swap?  I also have about 40 various schools of nursing badges including some vintage badges that I may be willing to swap or sell if anyone is interested?

I'll try up load some photo's soon.

Hello John,

Welcome. I don't have the badge you seek but I would be interested in knowing what you may have to swap. I think that other members may also be interested. Tower Hospital, Rainhill - I think that there was one in Merseyside - is of particular interest. Also Scottish SEN badges...

More especially from where I stand is the possibility of your photo upload. It is very simple once you get the sequence - just keep your photo's to 650px any side (or square) and you should have no problems. You can always seek help if you do have problems - it will be finding.

Our 'National' gallery now stands at around 20048 badges - some absolutely superb - give it a go!

Hi Wilfb. Cheers for that.  I am working away at the minute as soon as I am home i'll photograph what I have and put them in the Gallery,, for everyone to see.  i have a nice collection on the go at the min mainly from the merseyside area.  I will let you look.  Do you have a spare edge hill college (Seftons P2k) badge?

Hill John.

No, sorry. I can't help with the Sefton badge - but someone here may have one.

I wonder too if you are a member of the 'nursingbadges' website - set up by our moderator 'backman'.  If not you might find useful contacts there - and more very useful links. 'schoolsofnursing' was actually first created because of help and support from 'nursingbadges' - then a MSN site.

http://nursingbadges.multiply.com/  like this site it is completely free.

Best for now.
Will.

 Hi John,
Because of the specialist nature of many collecting areas across the UK-Sue & Scotland/Midlands,Eric Ireland,Wag Kent, etc I have moved on most of my collection from these areas to concentrate on London, the South and East.I do however come across badges at fairs etc so will keep my eyes open for suitable badges for trades where possible. It makes sense to me that we try to acknowledge colleagues interests where possible but expect no mercy from me at auction for that absolute must have that we both want!!!!

I look forward to seeing photos of your collection and wonder if you might consider displaying some of these in conjunction with the Liverpool Museums service as I know a friend of mine is in discussion with them about something next year?
