Privately Issued Nursing Badges
« on: July 30, 2017, 09:55:53 AM »
Whilst having a sort through I came across stuff relating to the UK Nursing & Midwifery Association dating to the late 1990s.This was a body set up by an individual to recognise UK Nursing and maintain a private register for which a badge could be issued and worn ,to replace the failure of UKCC to award one.It followed on from a similar scheme and the star shaped badges sold in the 80s. I just wondered if anyone here actually joined that body and just how many badges were issued?
