One just sold, without a case, for over £800, is that a record?

Hi Myk,

Not sure but must be close.  Maybe Peter can  help here.  I paid a lot for one of mine but I will have to get out the records for the price. I will let you know.

Whist you await - I don't personally think that it will be long before we see four figures for one of these with a box.

I believe the highest cost for a standard cased one was £1500 a few year back to an Australian collector.More than I would pay (or indeed charge)but as long as the buyer was happy with that they can regret later at leisure(that I do know plenty about!) We haven't seen any more of the bad copies for a little while so I suspect another may be due.
