There has been a lot of Netherne Hospital Psychiatric Hospitals for sale lately.I have managed to buy a few. I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me about the badge. On is silver with a wreath of laurels surrounding it. The other one is just a hospital badge with out the laurel. There is a non silver version - bronze metal with a wreath of leaves. I suspect it may be something to do with the different types of training at the Hospital. Maybe RMN was the silver with wreath and the bronze with wreath maybe SEN (Mental). This does not explain the other badge without the wreath of laurels.
Perhaps any member who worked or trained at the Hospital could shed some light on the different type of badges. They are lovely and the silver on is of good weight. Many thanks in anticipation.
