Fourth Generation of the Earley Family

4. Henry William EARLEY. Born on 22 Jul 1871 in East Grimstead, Wiltshire. Henry William died in Portsmouth in Jan 1951; he was 79. Occupation: 1891 Aldershot with 1st Division Field Artillery. Discharged from Army 04 Jan 1913.

On 15 Dec 1898 when Henry William was 27, he married Mary Alice WEBB, daughter of Henry William WEBB & Esther HUDSON, in Portsea, Hants. Born on 25 Dec 1876 in Herne, Kent. Mary Alice died in Portsmouth in May 1967; she was 90.

They had the following children:

 

                                i.  Kathleen Alice. Born on 28 Apr 1901 in Curragh Camp, Kildare, Ireland. Kathleen Alice died in 5 Catisfield Road, Portsmouth, in Jun 1986; she was 85.

                               ii.  Dorothy Mary. Born on 31 Jan 1903 in Colchester. Dorothy Mary died in Wycombe Gen Hosp Berkshire, in 1977; she was 73.

                              iii.   Marjorie. Born on 13 Sep 1909 in Chester. Marjorie died in Salisbury on 7 Jul 2001; she was 91.

                                    In May 1942 when Marjorie was 32, she married Arthur Dennis George JORDAN in Palestine.

                              iv.   Doris. Born on 27 Feb 1914 in Elham, Kent. Doris died in Portsmouth in Mar 2002; she was 88.

  
 

Marjorie Earley was the third child of the 4th Generation of the family.
